Chilika and Satapada: dolphins, boats and whether the lagoon is worth it

Chilika is a lagoon morning, not a second temple. Satapada is where most of our boats leave.

Is Chilika worth visiting?

Yes if you want a boat morning and can give it half a day from Puri. It is a weak add-on if it is squeezed after Konark on a day you are also driving back to Bhubaneswar Airport.

What is the difference between Chilika and Satapada?

Chilika is the lagoon. Satapada is the village and jetty most visitors use for dolphin-facing boats. You do not choose one instead of the other.
